The Loftus performance became a defining moment where Jakkals Vibes™ stepped from online conversation into the real world — a statement that the brand had arrived on the biggest stages in the country.
Raynhardt Helberg steps in as the new DJ & MC for the Jakkals Vibes™ Band, replacing Elster Pieterse in the lead role. The rest of the crew — Hansie Roodt (session guitarist), Carami Botha and Shinayda Meyer (professional dancers), and Declan Reese Keenan (live audio engineer) — had been part of the live setup from the very first show and continued unchanged. Jakkals Vibes™ and Arri Opperman began building what would become "Vlerke oor die Maan". Arri Opperman, known for his emotional songwriting and honest approach to Afrikaans music, joined forces with Jakkals Vibes™ in a collaboration that quickly grew bigger than originally planned.
